Looking for biblical answers instead of traditional ones? Tired of the same old emotional roller coaster instead of spiritual substance?

Our newsletter, Kingdom Thoughts, will encourage and challenge you to think for yourself.

If you have entered into covenant with the Almighty through the instructions (Torah) in his word, you have received of his Spirit. That Spirit is known in Scripture as the Spirit of Truth. He is God and he promises to lead us into ALL truth. If you haven't or do not know what God's covenant in the blood of Messiah is all about, we will gladly share those instructions with you so that as many of us as possible can prepare for the coming time of great trouble. There is true hope in these times, and it is all in knowing what YHVH has to say about all that is happening in the present-day world. We invite you to fellowship with us.

Why the Promised Land is Still Divided

                                        2Ki 23:27

"And YHWH said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there."

Several issues must be clearly understood if we are to comprehend the true depth of this verse of Scripture since there is no prophecy of Scripture that is of someone's own interpretation.[1] That means that it isn't about how you or I interpret the Scriptures. It is about how they interpret themselves through their interconnected precepts.

Our job as disciples is not to give the precepts of the Word meaning. It is, rather, to discover the meaning already given to them by the Author. We can only do this by intently staring into the Word "as unto a light that shines in darkness until the day dawns and the morning star arises in our heart." [2] Unless we can believe that God is absolutely one, and that it is truly He who has "breathed" the words of the Bible through anointed (approved) men who were used to record them, we will always be vulnerable to deception through ambiguity*.[3]

This is what Messiah was referring to when he said, "Many will come in my name saying 'I am Christ' and will deceive many." Allow me to share something with you that may just revolutionize the way you understand this verse and give you a new perspective on why it is so important for us to verify what we read beyond the translated words of our everyday language.

Let us refer back to the language from which our English version was translated. This is what it says:

(Mat 24:5)  "ForG1063 manyG4183 shall comeG2064 inG1909 myG3450 name,G3686 saying,G3004 IG1473 amG1510 *Christ;G5547 andG2532 shall deceiveG4105 many."G4183

This has been excerpted from the KJV w/Strong's Numbers. Here is the plain KJV:

(Mat 24:5)  "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

If we look beyond the English translation, we find that the word for "*Christ" in the Greek language is:

G5547

Χριστός

Christós; fem. christḗ, neut. christón, adj. from chríō (G5548), to anoint. Anointed, a term used in the OT applied to everyone anointed with the holy oil, primarily to the high priesthood (Lev_4:5, Lev_4:16). Also a name applied to others acting as redeemers.

What becomes clear from this is that Messiah is not saying that false prophets would come in his name saying they were him. They will come in his name (representing him) saying, "I am anointed." (Saying they were APPROVED of HIM to speak for HIM)

The common train of thought has been that false prophets would come claiming to be him, but this tells us that anyone who claims to be "anointed" can be a false prophet if he or she is prophesying or teaching something that is not according to the truth of Scripture. So a person teaching anything erroneous or not according to the proper precepts of the one faith becomes a false prophet who deceives many. I reiterate, he said, "Many shall come…" and "TAKE HEED that no man deceive you." Paul writes, "Study to show yourself APPROVED…"[4]

So to be truly anointed or approved to declare the precepts of this faith depends upon two things. First of all, do you have a calling from God to do so? If so, your gift will evidence the fact by how diligently you stare into that "light that shines in a dark place;" the Word of YHWH. It is only thus that we can "see" the Living Word who comes to dwell within us when we enter into covenant with God. That means we must first enter into a time of discipleship before we can be used in service to the kingdom. This is verified by the word that says, "Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of YHWH, that he may exalt you in due time."[5] Exaltation in the kingdom is the absolute approval given to one by YHWH to serve in the capacity to which one was called. There many parts in a body and each one has a purpose for which it was created. Our liver cannot function as a heart because it has a different purpose and function.

By the same token, unless one understands the Body, the gifts, the plan, the history, and the time in which one lives, how can one understand one's purpose within it all? As you can see, it takes time and effort to be molded into one's particular purpose in the kingdom. Only God can properly direct us into our calling as we seek him for our purpose.

That is where we encounter the second thing our anointing or approval depends upon. How willing are we to fit into the overall structure of Messiah's Body? Do we see this as a competitive endeavor? Are we willing to submit to the fact that there is no hierarchy in the Body? Will we stand shoulder to shoulder with each of the other callings and respect their function in our lives?

This is where the Body suffers its greatest dysfunction today! People of faith have been taught by "learned ones" that the organized structure that is present today is what God has "approved." The doctrines being taught as truth are laden with inaccuracies and suppositions. The clergy and laity system imposed by religion has robbed many of their proper calling and function within the Body. There are those who can sing a song and believe that they can just as easily teach the precepts because people will listen to them. I have seen children playing pastors because they were unhappy where they were and decided to start their own Church. I have seen others playing pastor for the sake of bolstering their own ego and building something that will bring them glory. I have long witnessed "teachers" teaching from a deficit of understanding concerning the oneness of YHWH. I have seen "prophets" who are more involved in politics than in the truth of Scripture. There are "evangelists" who spend more time on trying to revive the Church than they do in carrying out the true meaning of their calling and title. To the majority of the "Christian" world, the titles of the callings that have been given to us for the edification of the saints for the work of the ministry are ranks instead of functions. They see everything through the perspective handed down to them through a religion that took control of the faith some 1700 years ago.

But God has not forgotten the structure he approved or anointed. He has not changed his mind concerning the precepts he established for entrance into the only covenant that can deliver us from destruction! That means that anyone functioning outside of that covenant structure is leading others to perdition through the same deception by which he or she is deceived. If God has not established it, it will not stand!

And so we come to the verse of Scripture at the beginning of this writing. YHWH has stated something very important to our present-day understanding of who is who on the world stage. The problem is that very few people can bear to see it as it is. There is too much opinion against the concept that is put forth by this verse.

There are several elements within this verse that clash head-on with the presently common consensus of the identity of Israel. As long as the word of YHWH is ignored in deference to the popular line of thought that prevails, many more will be deceived and many will never recover from that deception. At the time of this writing, there are many deceived people who fully expected to be "raptured" on Saturday May 21st. How many of those will decide to quit trusting God without ever realizing that it was not God that they were trusting when they believed this. His name has been blasphemed because of someone else's actions. Every time someone opens their mouth to teach something that is not absolutely in line with the true precepts of Scripture, God is the one who ultimately gets blamed by those who chose to believe the lie in the first place instead of going to the real and living YHWH to inquire of him personally. How long before people stop depending totally on other charismatic people to "lead" them?

"And YHWH said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there."

These words were uttered by the Almighty between 642BC and 609BC. The statement is very straight-forward. He said, "I will remove Judah out of my sight as I have removed Israel" Israel proper, the ten northern tribes, had been carried away by Assyria back in 722BC by YHWH's determination. Now he determines to do the same to Judah. While the physical city had been the chosen city up to this point, he has determined to cast it off along with the house (Temple) in which his presence resided by virtue of his name. But this does not mean that he has turned his back on his people or his plan to create a people for his glory. It also does not mean that he has forsaken the people he foreknew; the seed of Abraham.

(Isa 43:5-7)  "Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him."

On the contrary, he has simply made the city a spiritual residence within Messiah until all his people are gathered in him (Messiah) through his name. Note the witness given to us by the book of Hebrews:

(Heb 12:22)  "But ye are come… unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem…"

How did "ye" get here? That's easy! Ye repented and were baptized in Yahshúa's name for the forgiveness of your sins and he filled you with his Spirit or he filled you with his Spirit and then you were baptized in his name.[6] However the order came about, you entered into covenant with YHWH through the invocation of his name at baptism in obedience to his commandment given at Shavuot (Pentecost) 2000 years ago. If you didn't, you may be experiencing the grace and mercy of YHWH and think that the blessings you are enjoying signify that you don't have to obey the precepts of the faith. But all that attests to is your lack of understanding as to how important obedience is to God. Many tend to forget that the original sin is disobedience. Messiah said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." He issued one on the Day of Pentecost that is the difference between life and death. That is why unto many on that day who say, "Did we not prophesy in your name; and did we not cast out demons and work many miracles?" He will protest saying, "Depart from me ye workers of iniquity, I know you not."(Mat. 7:23) Iniquity is just another word for error! The words "I know you not" mean that he does not identify with them. Notice what he says just prior to these things:

(Mat 7:21)  "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

Did YHWH keep his word to remove Judah as he had done to Israel? Yes he did! He removed them to Babylon where they managed to concoct a religion known as Judaism to take the place of the belief structure given to all Israel at Mount Sinai. A covenant was made there with all twelve tribes of Israel. Judah went into captivity in Babylon around 597BC; approximately 125 years after Israel had been taken captive by Assyria. Israel lost all knowledge of its identity as it melted into Assyrian society's norms and traditions while casting off its Israelite heritage. Judah traded its covenant heritage for a religion that would provide them with identity as a people. So the truth is that both houses are either ignorant or confused for the most part. That makes the whole of Israel blind.

This blindness can only be removed by entering into Messiah by the terms of the covenant. The heavenly Jerusalem can only be accessed through his blood by water baptism in his name; Yahshua.  We who are in Messiah are the house wherein YAH's name dwells. We stand on Mount Zion in the midst of the New Jerusalem. All who are not in Messiah are still blinded by their traditions, ignorance, and religions. All who do invoke the name of YAH would do well to carefully consider that we are standing on holy ground. Therefore, let us remove all man-made clothing (traditional beliefs) even as Moses removed his sandals because Messiah is the robe of righteousness that covers our nakedness and shame and there is nothing we need to add to his perfect righteousness. Instead, let us work from within that righteousness so that the accuracy and beauty of the Word of YAH that is law may fill the earth. For it is written that it is "from Zion that the law shall go forth and the Word of Yah from Jerusalem." (Isa. 2:3)
