How Does Astrology Work?

Astrology originated from the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations as a way to predict future events. The ancients believed that the stars were warding off demons and other dangers from man, and astrology was born from this belief. It is also believed to have been derived from the native Indian astrology practiced by the Brahmins. Even though there are many schools of astrology still in practice, the main branches are Indian astrology, Western astrology, and Chinese astrology.

The practice of astrology has its roots in two ancient fields: Physics and astronomy. Astronomy is concerned with the positions of heavenly bodies such as the moon, sun, and planets. This includes learning how to measure the positions and motions of celestial bodies so that they can be used to tell people’s events in the here-and-now. Astrologers use the knowledge of celestial bodies to predict or disclose people’s future. They then take their information and translate it into a description of human events and actions based on the movements of celestial bodies.

There are two main theories about how astrology works. One school of astrologers suggest that celestial bodies affect people based on certain fixed factors such as the presence and absence of a Sun, a Mercury, and a Venus in a particular star. The other school of astrology proposes that the presence or absence of these factors affects the outcome of a person’s birth date. This school of astrology also believes that certain celestial bodies affect people by bringing them good or bad fortune.
