The Importance of Driving Lessons

Do you ever remember the video that recorded an accident of a pregnant woman due to the act of a car driver who was studying out of place which was viral a few moments ago? This video had made the public worried because cases of car drivers who were just learning to hit pedestrians or innocent people had often occurred.

Learning to drive can indeed be done independently by asking for help from someone who can already drive a car. But is it safe? This is still a question for many people. We recommend that when a new driver learns to drive a car, he must be accompanied by a certified instructor and the car used is a special car designed for learning.

If you want to learn to drive safely and comfortably. Then a driving course is the right choice to start studying.

A driver’s education, or driving lessons, is a formal class or program that prepares new drivers for their driver’s license. The formal class program is also for existing licensees who wish to take an international driving license or a driving test. Courses / lessons can take place in the classroom, in a vehicle, online, or a combination of the above. Subject topics include traffic rules, basic driving techniques, courtesy and ethics, practical driving practices, driving practices in road traffic, to vehicle maintenance practices.

During lessons / courses the instructor will warn about crashes, dangerous conditions in driving such as road conditions, driver disturbances, and dangerous weather.

Courses are intended to supplement the knowledge gleaned from government-printed driving manuals or manuals and prepare students for exams for obtaining a driver’s license. Students will use a car equipped with dual controls, which have pedals or other controls on the passenger side, with an instructor.

Driving lessons/ training started as a business in Great Britain in 1909-1910. The British School of Motoring (BSM) was founded in 1910 in South London by Hugh Stanley Roberts. This course offers hands-on training and courses in driving skills (steering control and driving procedures) and repair. They also offer vehicles for training for students who do not have their own vehicle
In the United States, Amos Neyhart, a professor at Penn State University, began a junior high school driver education course in 1934 at a high school in State College, Pennsylvania.

A more accurate and original term would be driver education, without possessiveness, such as teacher education, or driving education such as nursing education. But over time, the possessive version became dominant.

Many agencies must complete a successful driver education course before young drivers receive their driver’s license or driving license. In some countries, students who take a driver’s education have the opportunity to receive a waiver on successful completion of a course that allows them to receive a student pass or driver’s license without taking some tests.

There is no minimum number of lessons you must have or hours you have to practice driving. How many lessons you need depends on how fast you learn
